2025 was a year of deepening roots. We grew in people, in clarity, and in the systems that let good work outlast any single event. Here is where things stand.
A milestone that matters
In 2025, Nehmiyah Foundation was officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. That step strengthens our governance, gives donors more confidence, and sets us up for the kind of long-term stability this mission needs.
The year by the numbers
Across Ghana and the Philippines, our programs reached people at very different stages of life:
We draw a clear line between program reach, meaning one-time engagement through events, and individuals served, meaning unique people who received ongoing support during the year. Honest measurement is part of how we hold ourselves accountable.
Five programs, one pathway
Our work is organized around five connected programs that support people at different stages and reinforce a single leadership ecosystem:
What this year taught us
2025 was also a year of refinement. We became more intentional about aligning our programs, strengthening accountability, and focusing on initiatives that build lasting systems rather than short-term outcomes. We learned more about what works, where we need to improve, and how much it matters to listen closely to the communities we serve.
None of it would have been possible without the trust of donors, partners, volunteers, and local leaders. As we move into 2026, the focus stays the same: invest in leadership, deepen our impact, and build pathways that let individuals and communities thrive on their own.
The work ahead is significant. So is the potential.
